報告人簡介：

林延平教授，1982年在東北大學(xué)獲得學(xué)士學(xué)位，1988年美國華盛頓州立大學(xué)獲得博士學(xué)位。歷任加拿大阿爾伯特大學(xué)終身教授，香港理工大學(xué)應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)系教授、副主任，主要研究興趣為偏微分方程和科學(xué)計算，擔(dān)任Discrete and continuous dynamical Systems, Series B，Dynamics of Continuous, Discrete and Impulsive Systems, Series B，Advances in Numerical Analysis和International Journal of Numerical Analysis and Modeling期刊的副主編或創(chuàng)刊人，在國際計算數(shù)學(xué)權(quán)威期刊SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis、SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis等期刊上發(fā)表若干學(xué)術(shù)論文。
